Don BettyRKB paranormal investigated this home last night and it was the most spirit filled place we have encountered!! If you are not a believer in the paranormal I highly recommend you book your team and go!! Be prepared to be visited while you are there!! 1st class accommodations from the house crew was amazing!! We Will Be Back!! Thank you Mrs. Heather for such a great time!!

Allen HefenwaldHistory teacher of twenty years here. First, this little place is very well done. I’ve stopped in twice now. Younger student tour guide still has some learning to do but he’s trying and very engaging. I think it says he’s a student on the website. You can tell he specializes in a different area. The lead historian doesn’t do tours but was very helpful in answering my questions as she was there when I came the first time. She seemed to know everything I asked and even pointed me to additional reference material for my research. All the text for the self guided tour is cited, which is a refreshing sight. I snapped some photos for my students just as a way of showing them that citing information is appropriate and helpful. A great place to learn about the families who lived here and a little about what life was like here. No watered down history stories to be found. It appears the information is changed seasonally. Best part? Free admission. Everyone was friendly.
