Daniel JacksonHidden gem. The Colt tavern has an oak fired 700°F Italian pizza oven! Both the Margarita (great w/chicken if you want protein) and Pepperoni (add hot honey if you want spicy) were incredible!! Both paired nicely with the best Margarita I think I’ve ever had.

Their authentic Italian pizza oven and fresh, in-house dough make the pizzas truly special, and I love that they offer creative options—including a pizza of the week. They’ve also put so much thought into their drink selection, with excellent beverage options for everyone. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly, and the owners are absolutely wonderful. Their employees are equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel special. It’s easy to understand why so many people in Robertson County and the surrounding love coming here for dinner. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

Heath HaleyOnce again and an incredible experience here. Tier I Neapolitan style pizza with the best ingredients around. Jeremy is the man. Hard stop. He’s a true professional. He always takes care of us. Above and beyond. Sarah was here tonight and she was awesome too. Kitchen is stellar as always. Got the extra rest on our pie so the crust was nice and crispy. Pesto was incredible also. Tell everyone to come to The Colt. Then go to Union Hill and have the burger and fries. 🔥🔥🔥 One sidenote unfortunately, there was a two couples with young children that were super unruly yelling obnoxiously, and the parents just let them run around like wild animals. I love kids, but I prefer discipline and respect, and these were not. Do better parents.
