Grant Types
Thank you for your interest in the Robertson County Economic Development Board’s Experience Robertson County Tourism Grant process. The Marketing, Event and Infrastructure grants are made possible through funding allocated from the county’s collected Occupancy Tax paid by visitors staying in our community’s hotels, motels and Airbnb/VRBO short-term rentals. These grants exist to market local events and attractions outside of Robertson County, as well as to develop and enhance local events and assets in order to increase travel and visitor-generated revenue to our community.

Marketing Grant |

| Eligibility | Robertson County municipality, 501 (c) 3 or 501 (c) 6 organizations and qualified licensed Robertson County tourism-related businesses |
| Purpose | To market local tourism events and attractions outside of Robertson County in order to increase travel to your community and increase visitor-generated revenue, while promoting the county’s Tourism brand “Experience Robertson County” |
| Requirements |
-Funds must be used for promotion and advertising outside Robertson County -For recurring event, a Profit & Loss detail for the last occurrence of the event must be included with submission – If this is related to a first-time event, a proposed P&L and list of available funds/sponsorships received is required |

Design, printing and mailing of direct mail advertisement Television or Radio advertisement |

Qualifying attractions and/or events are eligible to apply on an annual basis Requests reviewed based on Grant Review Matrix |
Event Grant |

| Eligibility | Robertson County municipality, 501 (c) 3 or 501 (c) 6 organizations and qualified licensed Robertson County tourism-related businesses |
| Purpose |
To develop or enhance tourism events in order to increase travel to your community and increase visitor-generated revenue, while promoting the county’s Tourism brand “Experience Robertson County” |
| Requirements |
-For enhancement to existing event, a Profit & Loss detail for the last occurrence of the event must be included with submission – If this is related to a first-time event, a proposed P&L and list of available funds/sponsorships received is required |
| Examples |
Design, printing of brand materials, such as signage Entertainment related costs Excludes items produced for resale |

Qualifying new events or existing events with a qualified enhancement are eligible to apply for up to three years Requests reviewed based on Grant Review Matrix |
Infrastructure Grant |

| Eligibility | Robertson County municipality, 501 (c) 3 or 501 (c) 6 organizations |
| Purpose | To develop or enhance tourism assets in order to increase travel to your community and increase visitor-generated revenue, while promoting the county’s Tourism brand “Experience Robertson County” |
| Requirements |
-project budget is required, including itemization of expenses, as well as funding/income sources –applicants must verify ownership or long-term lease status of the facility housing the proposed project |
