Oct 10, 2026 · Google ReviewPeople need to learn how to act in public. My stars are for the customer service I saw today. My wife had me in this place with her today. I don't know a thing about pottery other than apparently you paint it and they cook it for you. While we were there, a woman came in mad because she had painted one of their display Christmas trees and it didn't come with lights. The nice girl behind the counter explained that the display trees don't come with lights and you get the lights when you actually order a tree. She even offered to order some for her, but said they come several to a pack and she'd be better off getting them online and saving herself some money. Offered to show her how to find them and everything. Seemed like a pretty reasonable solution to me. But the woman kept saying she'd "paid extra" so she should get lights. The girl explained about some cheaper preorder price and that the woman had paid the regular price because she decided to paint the display one instead. And yes, it was marked as a display. Hell, even I saw the sign and I wasn't shopping for a Christmas tree. That explanation apparently wasn't good enough either. The woman got pretty hateful and finally said she'd "make sure everybody knows." Well, ma'am, I guess I'll help you out. I don't know if that young lady was the owner, manager, or just somebody working there, but she stayed a whole lot nicer and calmer than I probably would have. Never raised her voice, never got ugly back, and kept trying to help the woman even while she was getting fussed at. That impressed me more than anything else in the place. People, read the signs and be nice to folks working behind a counter. It really isn't that difficult. My wife says we'll be back because she liked the girl's attitude alone. Apparently that means I'll be back too. Got any ashtrays?
