The Doctor Martin Walton House (also known to some as the Cook-Tate Home or "The Friend by the Side of the Road") was built in 1809 and added to the National Register in 1996. Guests aged 55+ can enjoy "Old Timer's Days" on Tuesdays from 9:30a-5p (with exception of being closed on Tuesdays during October); no guests under the age of 55 are allowed to accompany on these days; no guided tours available during Tuesday hours, but historian is available to answer questions
