Great option for Mexican style cuisine. The place was busy, and that is a good thing in my book. Endless chips and salsa made the wait more than bearable. The pork enchilada was excellent and on the spicy side.
May 15, 2022 · Google ReviewBest Mexican around! We visit once a week and they are the best. Street tacos, queso, fajitas, jalapeno hot sauce...everything is delish
May 7, 2026 · Google ReviewAugust 2020 Taco Night! We first found El Paso during a bike ride out from Clarksville. We opted not to stop because the place really looks like a hole-in-the-wall. Fortunately, someone in our group lost a pair of glasses during the ride. The following day, we retraced our path looking for the glasses, got hungry, and decided to give El Paso a look see. We have been back several times, and have recommended the joint to almost everyone. Service: 5/5 Everyone in the place is super nice. Mostly Hispanic people, speaking very little English but they manage to get the job done. There is a young man working there named Jefferson, good kid, very friendly, pretty shy...we try joking with him every time we go back. Jr and all of the other staff are excellent! Food: 5/5 Pretty straight forward Hispanic food. However, the TACOS! are the best in town. Get the tacos! We have been back at least once or twice a month since August 2020, and the tacos have been excellent every time...and other stuff is pretty good too. Price: 4/5 Pretty decent but not cheap. We think the price is fair considering the great service and great tacos. Ambiance: 3/5 El Paso is an Hispanic restaurant, besides the music playing, there is very little Hispanic atmosphere. The place is run down, old, and kinda makes you wonder if you should really be eating there. Cleanliness: 3/5 Exactly what you would expect from with an old building....a little run down, clean enough, workspace in odd places, old tables, chairs, and utensils. Do not expect too much. Location: 2/5 El Paso is in the middle of nowhere. Besides the fun (twisty) ride out and beautiful scenery, there is not much else to do. There is very little parking, so people end up parking anywhere they can. The side parking is hit-or-miss depending on if someone parked right in the middle or was respectful enough to park so other have space to park also. No parking in front, though people managed to park half in the road and half in the space out front. There is a road on the other side of the build that is closed...people park there also. However, we have always managed to find somewhere to park, though we have been concerned every time. We are giving El Paso 5/5 because of the awesome staff and awesome tacos. Highly recommended.
Mar 10, 2021 · Google ReviewAuthentic tacos !!! After 9 years in Tucson, we had been searching for Mexican food we were use to with no luck, until today. Amazing service as well
Jul 2, 2021 · Google ReviewDon’t worry about a sign. It’s the only building on the corner. We had chicken fajitas and combo #8. Prices are very fair and the food is excellent. I particularly enjoyed visiting with the staff. They are very attentive and strive to make your dinner experience great. Would make a fun destination dinner for the Nashville crowd.
