JM from White HouseFirst time customer. As a local, we've been wanting to give this place a try for a couple months now. Stopped in for a lunch on a Thursday. They're open 7am - 7pm. No problems parking. Got a place out front. Here - you order at the counter and then find a seat. There are 2 tables for 4 in the front room, a larger table for around 8 plus so counter-type seating in the side room, in addition to some tables outside around back. Both tables in the front room were not occupied so we had no issues waiting on a seat. I got the BBQ nachos, and the wife got a burger and fries. Drinks are bottled so you grab them from a cooler. The food is fairly priced, and the portion sizes are just right. Total for 2 meals + 2 bottled drinks came to $41.10 which included taxes and tip. Food came out quickly and the staff if very friendly and talkative. Place has a nice hometown vibe, and we'll likely go back to try the breakfast options (served all day) in the near future. If you're in the area, give this nice small business a try. Hope they stick around.

Buffey HedrickService was wonderful and friendly. You know you can go to a tried and true chain restaurant but nothing beats an "off the beaten path" mom and pop grocery and eatery. My daughter and I love small businesses because it's a struggle out there, so we stopped and it was delightful. I decided to have thick cut bologna sandwich to remind me of my childhood and I had my choice of bread so I had it on grilled texas toast with lettuce, tomatoes,pickles with mustard and mayonnaise with a side order of breaded mushrooms that were so juicy they popped in your mouth. James who waited on us had a great deal of passion for the job and cooking. They also had home baked goods and we got a fried cherry pie that was very good. They had fresh milk from a local dairy farmer and fresh brown eggs. It was worth the stop. I will be back.

Molly HedrickJames, the gentleman working the register and cooking our food was super super friendly and nice. best fried mushrooms I’ve ever had. The quesadilla was folded like a grilled burrito (fun!) and was very good as well. wishing their business continued prosperity!

Cindy HarrisHad Pappy’s Platter and It was great. BLT also awesome. Very friendly nostalgic atmosphere. Got the wings to go and I’ll try them for lunch. Update later on the wings.
