Join Knot Enuff Quilts and Fabric for Stitching Freedom: Quilts & the Underground Railroad, a powerful 12-month quilting journey led by Elaine that weaves together history, symbolism, and hands-on creativity.
Throughout this year-long class, participants will explore the history of the Underground Railroad and the important role quilting is believed to have played in guiding enslaved people toward freedom. Each month, you’ll learn a new quilt block, uncover its meaning and symbolism, and understand how it connects to the journey toward liberation—all while creating a beautiful, historically inspired quilt.
Classes are offered twice each month for flexibility, with the same block taught in both sessions:
- Fourth Friday | 5:30–8:30 PM
- Fourth Saturday | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
This program is beginner-friendly while still engaging for experienced quilters. All cutting space, pressing stations, and power cords are provided, and participants receive class discounts on fabrics, rulers, and supplies purchased in-store.
This class holds special significance as 2026 marks the 250th birthday of America, making it a meaningful time to reflect, learn, and stitch history together.
