Such a gem in our own County Seat. The Host is very knowledgeable and cares that the young people learn history. When we visited they were creating boxes of hands-on history memorabilia you could check out, take home and learn about an era. From what I understood, it even came with a syllabus.

Dec 18, 2025 · Google ReviewOutstanding balance of Tennessee History. First time I have seen the story of so many descendants of survivors of enslavement. It was incredible to see their life stories. I will be buying the book.
Jul 10, 2025 · Google ReviewI'm part of a ghost hunting crew called Ghost Hunt Weekends and we had an investigation here Saturday, February 4, 2023. My visit was obviously after hours but always amazing every time we visit. Staff is always super friendly and lots of cute stuff in the gift shop. I'm also a history buff and the history in this place, not just the artifacts in it but the building itself, is absolutely spectacular.
